One Set 30m³/h Deep Coal Seam Fracturing Flowback Fluid System is Under Production
Fracturing flowback fluid refers to the process of extracting and treating the liquid used for fracturing from underground rock formations after fracturing operations in oil and gas field development. This liquid contains various chemical substances and impurities, thus requiring treatment to prevent environmental pollution. The treatment of fracturing flowback fluid may face some challenges, including complex chemical composition, large volume of wastewater, environmental impacts, and technological challenges.
The SEPARATE fracturing flowback fluid treatment equipment can reduce treatment costs. After treatment, the wastewater can be reinjected, reused, or reblended, meeting standard requirements for environmental protection while also bringing economic benefits to customers.

Recently, SEPARATE customized a set of fracturing flowback fluid treatment systems for a client. Oilfield wastewater is collected in a wastewater collection tank, pumped up to an oil separation tank by a lifting pump, and then treated with an electrochemical demulsification device to break the emulsion. The treated wastewater flows into a gas flotation machine, where the floating sludge is collected by scrapers. The wastewater then enters a two-stage chemical softening device. After the precipitation of metal ions such as calcium and magnesium, the effluent enters a clean water tank for resource recycling. The sludge is dehydrated by a plate and frame filter press, with the waste residue discharged and the water reused.

SEPARATE can develop fracturing flowback fluid treatment systems ranging from 10 cubic meters to 90 cubic meters. They conduct water quality analysis based on different water qualities, design process flow, and then produce qualified systems accordingly. The systems meet environmental temperature requirements of ±50°C and are equipped with measures such as heating pipelines and insulation houses to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
