Geothermal drilling is drilling work for the purpose of exploring or developing geothermal resources. The underground thermal energy reserves are huge. 

The thermal energy stored in the earth's crust below land alone is equivalent to 1.3×103 times the total energy of petrochemical fuels such as solid fuels, crude oil, and natural gas. 

It is an energy source with broad prospects for development and utilization.

Geothermal drilling mostly uses oil drilling rigs or water source drilling rigs, including three major systems (lifting system, rotation system, and circulation system).

Recently, one set 500gpm mud circulation system is designed per customers requirement in the Middle East. 

The 500gpm mud system includes the following equipment:

1) A drilling fluid vibrating screen with a processing capacity of 500gpm: The screens adopt wedge-type installation devices, which are easy to replace.

2) A 500gpm mud cleaner:

3) Two mud agitators.

4)  Decanter centrifuge and a submersible slurry pump

5) Three centrifugal pumps

6) 2 sets mud tanks

7) 1 pc electronic control system
